Your files stay on your device.
Mutari runs entirely in your browser. We never see, upload, or store your files. This page explains exactly what happens — and what doesn't.
How file processing works
Every tool on Mutari runs using WebAssembly and browser APIs. When you select a file, it's read into your browser's memory, processed locally, and the result is available for download — all without any network request. You can verify this by opening your browser's Network tab while using any tool.
What we don't do
No file uploads
Your files are never sent to any server. Processing happens in your browser's sandbox.
No accounts or logins
We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the tools.
No file storage
Nothing is saved after you close the tab. We have no database of user files.
No tracking cookies
We don't use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use the site (page views, referral sources). This is a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service that does not track individual users or collect personal data. It does not have access to your files.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to save your preferences (theme, dismissed announcements). This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
Service worker
Mutari installs a service worker to enable offline usage and cache app assets for faster loading. It only caches the application code — never your files. You can unregister it at any time through your browser's developer tools.
